Grounding (aka Earthing)
Grounding aka Earthing: This first time I put the grounding blanket it was amazing, dare say miraculous. I instantly felt like my body had been reset, there was a slight tingling feeling over my entire body which corresponded to a very calming energy. I slept on the blanket that night I had the most vivid dreams I had had in years and was actually a little scared to sleep with the grounding blanket near my head since it made the dreams so intense. It was pretty unbelievable. After a couple days and nights of usage, I even got back my nocturnal penile tumescence (aka “morning wood”) which sadly I had not had in three years! Needless to say, I could not get enough of the grounding blanket and needed to be with it as much as possible. The effects of grounding are maximized as the more of your body (skin) is in contact with the earth either directly, such as by standing barefoot in the grass, or indirectly through various conductive fibers are woven into sheets and other products that you connect the grounding wire in a standard three-prong outlet. For a little more than a year I slept naked on grounded sheets and with one wrapped around my head with an elastic headband to keep it in place (yes, a bit neurotic) and then a foot pad at work. Over that time, the impact of the positive benefits have plateaued, and I’m less compulsive of about being grounded, but the benefits have been undeniable. I currently sleep on a magnetic mattress (add link) which the anecdotal research seems positive, but I would still like to confirm primary sources for myself.
